The equipment disconnect or circuit breaker is a great place to look for power quality problems. Some of the problems we can identify include:

• Box grounds (not continuous)
• Loose connections
• Overcurrent protection ratings or settings
• Conductor sizing (Line and Load, Phases, Neutral, and Ground)
• Overheated connections or devices
• Improper Neutral-Ground bonds
• Isolated Grounds (not connected to box)
• Uncommon voltages (that 220 VAC box you see was really 240 VAC / 3 Phase with a center tap ground)
